NYAS Cymru has services across Wales, and we have an exciting new programme called TogetHER which is a sister project from our Unity work which provides wrap around support to girls and young women when their babies are at risk of entering care.
Our new Programme TogetHER will aim to advance the rights of young women in care who have children and undertake key research into why the number of babies born to care experience young women become the subject of child protection. This post will be key in working in partnership with key partners, have research experience and be able to influence with decision makers and Welsh Government to advocate for change.
With funding from the National Lottery for Wales, we are looking for a Research and Influencing Officer, working 35 hours per week (part time job share may be considered).
The purpose of this role will be to support NYAS Cymru’s sector-leading research and policy programme aimed at improving the lives of care experienced young women and girls across Wales.
