Are you a creative and strategic marketing & comms professional with a passion for social impact?
At NYAS (National Youth Advocacy Service), we are dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of children, young people, and adults at risk. Our mission is to empower and amplify the voices of those who need it most. We believe that no child or young person should ever be alone or voiceless in the care system, in family court or when decisions are being made about their future
We are seeking a creative and driven Marketing & Communications Manager, working 35 hours per week to lead our Marketing and Communications function. Reporting to the Head of Growth and Partnerships, you will deliver innovative strategies to raise our profile, build brand awareness, and strengthen NYAS’s position as a trusted and authentic leader in the sector.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for shaping and managing NYAS's brand presence across digital, print, and events platforms ensuring consistency and alignment with our core values of Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Empowerment (CARE)
You will oversee the creation of a wide variety of marketing assets and ensure all content aligns with NYAS's mission and objectives. You will also lead on strategic media and PR engagement, building awareness of key campaigns and initiatives.
As the team grows, you will be responsible for building and leading a communications team. Initially, this will include managing volunteers and interns, but as the team grows, you will take on the responsibility of managing communications officers and ensuring smooth collaboration and timely delivery of all communications outputs, while supporting the team’s ongoing development.
About you
We are looking for someone who can bring Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Empowerment to their work. You will be a confident, creative communicator with experience in leading comprehensive marketing and communications strategies. This is an opportunity to join a values-led organisation where your work makes a real difference. You will be supported by a positive, purpose driven culture, flexible working arrangements and the knowledge that your work has a direct impact on changing lives.
